Description: Craig L131 AM/SSB 40 Channel CB Radio with new Craig Mic, power cord built into radio. Please read entire description. This is a rare collectors radio not a high performance cb. The Ring on the channel selector blinks with Modulation, pretty cool. The audio and power capacitors have been replaced as seen in the photos. The receive and transmit coils have all been peaked. SSB has been tuned. I believe the clarifier is on center. All the functions of the radio work. AM power has good swing, SSB power is low, about 4 watts. I did not do extensive tuning of the SSB side, but did test it and the audio is great. Add a linear and it will talk. I made a Craig to Cobra mic cord adapter. I was told the radio is a loud talker with a Turner Plus 3 desk mic. If you wanted to get rid of the sliding mobile mount, the power wires are very easy to get to on the back of the radio to solder on a long power wire (on the inside of the radio, need some soldering skills). The radio has been tuned, recapped 90%, and is a nice solid CB Radio that's pretty cool but I am listing it as "For Parts or not working" As I am not going to accept any returns on it.
