Description: Digitalis Dalmatian, also known as foxglove or lady's glove, is a popular biennial or short-lived perennial plant. It blooms profusely from early to mid-summer, forming a low rosette of downy, green oblong leaves and typically flowering in its first year. The tubular blossoms of the plant are attractive to hummingbirds, and the seedheads also draw in birds during the fall. This eye-catching plant has a charming floral display and is well-branched, noted for its excellent habit and compact foliage. It is easy to grow and performs best in full sun to part shade, in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. While it prefers humus-rich soil in partial shade, it can also grow in full sun. Additionally, it is deer and rabbit tolerant. ***Our healthy, well-rooted starter plants come in 1 1/4" diameter nursery pots and are ready to be transplanted into your final containers. Growing Tips:1. Space plants 12" apart in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade.2.
