Description: Antique English Silver Mustard/Salt Spoon, Exeter Hallmark, and c.1834 This mustard or salt spoon was made by the silversmith George Turner in 1834 in Exeter during the reign of William IV. It is in the Old English shape, is monogrammed and is in very good condition with a small dent near the maker’s mark on the handle of the spoon. The Exeter hallmark is crisp and includes profile of William IV, Lion Passant, Exeter town mark and a letter ‘s’. The maker’s mark is ‘GT’. The Exeter assay office closed in 1833.
