Description: Beautiful brass tone (I don't think it's solid brass) and faux wood lamp made by the ever-popular Laurel Lamp Co. in a sensuous and sinuous design. I do not know the name of the designer; I was thinking Ben Seibel, but can't find anything about it. The lamp is in very good vintage condition with just a couple of flaws - a lighter area on the metal and a tiny brown spot on the metal. The shade is original to the lamp (as stamped on the shade), but is only available with local pick-up at an additional $40. It is in very good vintage condition with no tears or staining. It has a band of brown around the bottom rim and another one, this time in khaki, above it to mimic the colors of the wood and brass. The lamp is 21 1/4" to the base of the socket with a 12" harp. It appears to have been rewired at some point and works well, but rewiring is always a good idea with vintage lamps. Nice solid brass finial. Check pics and enlarge as they are part of the description. Note that felt has fallen off and will be shipped but not attached.
