Description: This sale is for a pair of wheel adapters to convert your 1/4 RC10 axles to 12mm Kyosho compatible. They will fit rerelease axles (RC10 Classic) but they are an even tighter fit due to the lack of precision in the Chinese made Associated axles. Note: these are best used with vintage wheels, or traxxas 7171 white dish 2.2’s as the offsets on modern wheels will cause the car to be narrower These are new-old-stock parts. The adapters are designed to be a taper fit. They are tight and precise. They do not just slip on and fall off. Once in place this ensures they will spin true. Line up with the pin BEFORE pressing in place. They have to be seated against the taper of the stub axle which will require some force. Note that the slot is not what keeps these from slipping, the taper is. The slotted cutout you see is simply to clear the roll pin. It will NOT surround the pin like a plastic adapter. See pics. We used washers instead of a wheel to seat them, but wheels work just as well.
