Description: Description We just received a used Fender American Vintage Series '62 Stratocaster in Vintage White.The color is Vintage White, made in U.S.A. Both neck date and body date are 1996, and Fender 50th anniversary logo sticker is still on the back of the head. The electrics have been modified.Rear Pickup: Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Front Pickup: Vintage Series Original The center pickup is a pickup that was installed on an old Japanese guitar.Each pickup cover has different coloring, which gives a nice taste. CRL 5-way blade switch 2 CTS Vintage type pots The outermost TONE pot is a pot with a PUSH-PUSH switch, and when switched, it is a front P.U MIX (rainbow tone).The TONE logo on the knob is also slightly smaller. The condenser is a rare vintage SPRAGUE 50's MOLDED TELECAPS .05μF 600V withstand voltage as well as Black Beauty. All positions are well balanced and very pleasant sounding. Condition There is a slight discoloration in the color along the line of the 6th string on the pickguard. There are some scuffs commensurate with age and some paint chips in various areas. There is also a common paint chip at the neck joint and a little paint cracking on the opposite side.Fortunately, the underlying color layer is still there, so it is not noticeable. There is also a chip of paint on the tip of the head.As the instrument is about 30 years old, I do not think there is any damage that would greatly offend you. The neck is straight and the truss rod has room to tighten or loosen. The frets have been refretted. The crown height is about 1.2mm, and there is a slight decrease in the low position (over 85% remaining), but this is not a problem. The fingerboard has been slightly modified at the time of refretting, and the edges of both sides of the fingerboard have been slightly rounded to improve the gripping feel when holding the fingerboard. The nut groove height was also adjusted. The string height was set at 2.0mm for the 6th string and 1.6mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret.It has a nice raw sound and a pleasant tone when the tone is turned down a little. It comes with a genuine hard case from that time (it has some age to it, such as dirt, etc., but it is functional.(No problem with functionality.) Tremolo arm is included. There is no back panel.
