Description: FINIAN'S RAINBOW, Herald (Advertising Flyer), 1948, Tour, Shubert Theatre, Boston, MA. The musical opened in NYC on 01/10/47 and ran for 725 performances. The front features artwork by Don Freeman, critic's quotes, production credits, opening date and theatre credit. The back contains artwork and critics' quotes. Music by Burton Lane, lyrics by E.Y. Harburg and book by E.Y. Harburg and Fred Saidy. Directed by Bretaigne Windust and choreographed by Michael Kidd. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
