Description: LONG WAVE UV Attractive yellow and some purple Fluorite crystal with Chalcopyrite crystal inclusions. The Chalcopyrite crystals inside the Fluorite reflect brightly similar to a Sunstone would when rotated. The Fluorite has one cleaved side and an irregular shaped, etched rest of the exterior. It has an unusual UV response as seen in the images, mostly a yellowish color. I am not an expert on the Cave-In-Rock Fluorites to know what is causing this UV reaction possibly some hydrocarbons? there is some violet reation as well but mainly the yellow. The last image is under short wave UV where it fluoresces but quite dimly. From Cave in Rock, Hardin County, Illinois. 55 grams. 5 cm. NOTE!
