Description: RARE GEORGE FULMER 3”x5” Vintage Estate Collection Photo. This photo shows Georges more risqué photography. This is an original photograph taken and developed by George Fulmer sometime between 1940-1955. There is only 1 known original of this photo currently owned by the estate. ****** READ ******* IMPORTANT ESTATE *******In 2014 we were asked to go inside of a building that was about to be demolished, to look for some dishes and other items that the new owner thought may have some value, and wanted them possibly removed before the building was torn down. When we made our way inside of the building that had been abandoned by the city photographer for Clearwater Florida for over 60 years, George Fulmer, what we discovered, took us 35 days to extract from the building. 10 years later, over 100,000 photographs have been saved, sorted, and are ready to be offered to collectors. These photographs include anything and everything you can imagine that a city photographer may have been present for. Including, important city events, sporting events including many of the Phillies and Yankees trainings that took place at the training field here, weddings, important high school photography, including football games, celebrities and bands, New construction, advertising, the police department, aerial photographs of the entire county, Red Cross, Jaycees, world war 2 and so much more!! There was also one small collection which we consider to be more valuable possibly than all of the rest and that would be the nude photographs that were found all in one box on a shelf about 10 feet in the air where they had obviously been hidden for quite a while. The photographer frequented the nudist camp here in Florida and there are lots of pictures from it. The camp is still open today. The people in these photographs have since passed as most of these were taken in the 1950s and of course are all adults photography. There are only about four or 500 nudes in the entire collection of over 100,000 photographs that were saved. It's also important to mention that George was an enlisted Navy military veteran during World War II. Unfortunately many of the photographs from that time. Had been saved outdoors in a box and most were sadly completely destroyed from the weather. To this day we could never figure out why he may have stored these outside away from everything else open to the weather and the elements. Follow us if you are interested in more from this collection there are only two curators of this entire estate so it's going to take us several months and possibly more to get them all listed. Grab them while you can! Some pictures are obviously better than others but all will eventually be placed somewhere of importance as we would like to bring recognition to the work of this man who spent his entire life doing photography mostly for the city of Clearwater. A COA will be included with each photograph or set purchased. The COA will be stamped with a stamp that was found in the estate with the photographers name.
