Description: Greeting & Verse Card Duet We know you'll love these great “Keepsake Enclosed Cards” which are a combination of a Greeting Card and a Verse Card. The greeting cards are created right here in our southwestern workshop just as we have been doing since 1977. First, a pastel Rainbow is printed on greeting card stock and then precision die-cut with distinctive round corners to a finished size of 4" x 5". Then we attach one of our 2⅜" x 3½" Verse Cards which is inserted into 4 small slits hidden on the face of the Greeting Card. The recipient easily removes it by gently lifting... much like a photo would be taken out of an old-fashioned album. The “removed” Verse Card then becomes a “Lasting Keepsake”. Each Verse Card features the following text: "I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me -- not in her. And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
