Description: This auction is for two items from Herman's Hermits appearance in Chicago in June of 1965. The first is a ticket stub for the Thursday, June 3, 1965 Herman's Hermits (and an All Star Revue) concert at the Arie Crown Theatre in McCormick Place in Chicago. The ticket stub measures approx. 1-7/8" x 1-5/16". (For many concerts in Chicago in the 1960s the ushers kept the large two-thirds of the stub with the band's name, leaving the fan with a small stub.) This was an upper level ticket . The ticket shows the seat location, the name of the venue - "Arie Crown Theatre", the date "Thursday, June 3, 1965". This ticket stub doesn't have the name of the band, but I'll include a photocopy of a handbill that lists the Herman's Hermits concert on that date at that venue. The ticket stub is in good condition except for a few light creases - there is a light 1-1/14" diagonal crease near the top of the ticket - there are a couple light horizontal creases across the middle - there are several small creases in the lower left - there are several smaller creases. The second item is an old snapshot of Herman's Hermits guitarist Keith Hopwood taken by a fan at a meet and greet for the band hosted by the Ed Pazdur Teen Club before the concert. The photo measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2". On the back of the photo the fan wrote "June 3, 1965 , Keith Hopwood". The snapshot is in good used condition - there is a light 3-1/2" vertical mark just left of center - on the back there are two yellow marks where cellophane tape used to be and it left indentations on the front of the photo - there are some light marks in the corners (most visible if held at an angle in the light) - there are a few small creases / minor marks.
