Hex finds himself in post apocalyptic Seattle, Washington. Detailed Plot Summary (Warning: Spoilers): In 2050 AD Reinhold Borsten is the most powerful man on post apocalyptic Earth. Borsten possesses a time beam that enables time travel, and he collects famous warriors, sometimes armies, from the past and stages elaborate battles for paying customers. Borsten transports Old West gunslinger Jonah Hex to the future to star in a western showdown. Hex escapes captivity and finds himself in Seattle, Washington. Most of Earth is a barren wasteland ravished by nuclear war. There are some civilized cities with functioning governments and modern technology, such as laser blasters, robots, and hovercrafts, but Earth is riddled with uninhabitable territories and all the water is toxic. Hex helps a blonde spitfire named Stiletta from a group of attackers. Stiletta warns that acid rain is on its way and without the proper protective clothing Hex will not survive. Stiletta introduces Hex to her outlaw biker gang called the Road Reapers led by Stilettas boyfriend, Falcon. Falcon sports a black jacket with a large picture of the Grim Reaper holding a scathe (the Road Reapers' colors) underneath a yellow rocker that says Road Reapers. Falcons clothes resemble black leather, but is a synthetic material that protects him from the acid rain. Falcon welcomes Hex into the gang, but is jealous because Stiletta seems to be taking a liking to him. Falcon organizes a raid on a nearby commune that has fresh water, and Hex reluctantly accompanies the Reapers on the assault. The commune was tipped off of the attack, and they are prepared. The commune easily defends its walls, and the Reapers are picked apart. Hex and Falcon wind up escaping on the same hovercraft. As Falcon and Hex speed away through the deserted plains, acid rain begins to fall. Hex is still wearing his western garb, and the toxic water begis to eat through his clothing and sting at his skin. Falcon seizes an opportunity to get rid of Hex and sucker punches him, knocking him off the hovercraft, leaving him to die in the downfall. Hex manages to bring Falcon down with him, and Falcon is knocked unconscious. Hex puts on Falcon's clothing, which saves him from the rain. Falcon gains consciousness and screams as the acid rain disintegrates his flesh. Hex moves on in search of a way to return home."
