Likely late 1800’s Rare Antique Victorian Children's Book that Includes what appears to be a fairly rare and possibly unknown short story by Jane G. Austin titled “Salvage of a Christmas Wreck”. Story is roughly 6 pages. I can find no information on this title. The book also includes 8 Chromolithographs, beautiful illustrations, wood block/engravings and many other stories. Book has been professionally re-bound with title on spine. Retains original front and back boards. Tight binding. Complete and in very good condition for age. Scratch on front cover as shown. A few pages have a small tear or 2 but nothing egregious. Really lovely book.
