Hours of time spent with inspection mirrors, 90-degree picks, lubrication, and spinning tubes to get the tubes onto the carb air funnels. Incorrect installation results in folding them and getting vacuum leaks. We needed a quick and easy way to install the airbox that did not change the tuning of the carbs, After a number of prototypes and improvements, we created something that works extremely well. The mod has been tested on 7 bikes and our test engine since 2019. With this kit you modify your existing airbox.Airbox installation is done with threaded tubes and nuts that are 3D printed from ABS plastic, like the airbox.Easy installation - the rubber intake tubes are attached to the carbs before the airbox.The airbox is then attached with the nuts and washers.The venturi tubes are then attached to a shoulder on the nut.Modification does not change the air flow or pressure in the airbox.No re-tuning is required. Airbox seals tightly on the tubes with no leaks.Installation is easy, leak free and done in a fraction of the time of the stock airbox.
