Description: HTF Antique Homer Laughlin White Ironstone Farmhouse Milk Jug / Hotel Ware Pitcher Hall Boy Jug Rare piece to find in such excellent condition - stunning white ironstone farmhouse or cottage milk jug / pitcher! Beautiful Homer Laughlin Hotel Ware white jug / pitcher - 6" diameter at widest point across with handle and 6" high. Hotel ware was in the original 1914 catalog and this piece is under the name of Hall Boy Jug. A great stoneware antique and early HLC! Condition: Very good to excellent preowned antique condition. No chips or cracks and little to no under the glaze crazing. A couple factory flaws around the attachment point of the handle to the base, common with antique factory production. Piece may have small factory production imperfections such as sand bumps, glaze skips, glaze pops, etc - all part of factory production. This piece is in pristine shape for its age - a rare piece to find! Very sturdy piece. Please see photos for details. Hotel ware was made by Homer Laughlin as early as 1913 and was a sharp contrast to the more ornate shapes of The Angelus and Hudson.
