Description: This is an original half sheet theatrical poster of James Bond's "From Russia with Love". The poster measures 22" x 28" and was printed in the United States. It is a must-have for any movie memorabilia collector, especially those interested in Secret Agent 007 and movie history. The poster features bold graphics and striking images of what many consider to be one of the absolute best 007 films. It is a very rare find and a valuable addition to any collection. I am a huge James Bond fan and at one time did my best to collect a movie poster from every one of the films. When it came to the early 1960s film FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (only the second movie in the series) I went after getting this USA 1/2 sheet. For me it by far had the best graphics and look of the posters from that film. For those who might not be familiar, back in the earlier days of movies the studios often printed these HALF SHEET movie posters. The are printed on CARD STOCK in a horizontal landscape format. The studios discontinued half sheet posters in the 1980s. This is surely one of the rarest 007 posters a collector could possibly own - and from a very early film in the series (as well as Sean Connery's personal favorite). This poster is a rare find but HAS BEEN FOLDED. Both down the middle horizontally and vertically. In addition, there is some edge-wear as well. It still can look great in a frame, and is also a terrific candidate to be paper-backed - these card stock 1/2 sheets are not usually linen-backed the same as their one sheet paper poster brethren. I have tried to show some close-ups so you can see the folds and slight flaws as I do my best to be forthright with my descriptions. I did have this for a time in a frame myself as is and was quite happy with it. This has been stored flat in an acid-free portfolio. The one in the photo is the one you will receive.
