Description: Janet Baker, Andre Previn - Brahms Four Serious Songs LP Vinyl Record Angel. 4 Serious Songs by Brahms is in near mint condition and plays through without any issues when tested. Please see photos. Despite the back cover statement that texts and translations are enclosed I did not find any. I have provided a brand new mobile Fidelity inner sleeve to replace The original angel sleeve from 1978 as it is not suitable for music of this caliber. Anything that Andre Previn does is worth owning in my opinion and this is certainly a very interesting and rewarding musical venture that Previn took his audience on. The record cover or record sleeve is in very good + condition with normal wear consistent with age including a little ring wear a couple small scratches and a hint of yellowing on the back cover in the white spaces. The spine has also seen better days. However, the vinyl record itself was really taken care of by the previous owner and it is a real treat to find a record that is 46 years old and in near mint condition. The second vinyl record included in this listing is contained in the photographs and titled Janet Baker Haydn and Mozart and features Raymond Leopard conducting the English chamber Orchestra this is an import record and near mint condition from Holland Phillips 650-0660 with a beautiful Translucent red label. Please see photos. Those this was at one point in time a record at the Muncie public library it appears it was never checked out or played. There does appear to be a little wear in terms of water but the vinyl record is near mint, The translations including those in the inlay are intact and well done by an experience transcriptionist. The LP was contained in a archival inner sleeve since 1974 exactly 50 years the final matrix number has been stamped and is AA 6500 660 2Y 2 ( P inside a circle ⭕️1974) Thank you for viewing my listing!
