This Becker is different than others I have seen in the fact that it does not have the very rough black coating on the blade. This one has a very smooth and slicey coating. I’m not sure if this means it’s older or newer than the others but this is the type of finish I was trying to achieve. After receiving the Knife I decided to leave the finish “AS IS”, and only swap out the handle hardware to stainless steel. A great knife/pry bar. Thanks for taking time to view.
