Description: This eBay Ad is for a Kenwood 12" Woofer T10-0142-05 , 912A235 Recent Re-Foam The Speaker Product Label is shown in an early Picture Reads: 8 Ohm, 40Hz, 90dB, 3,8kHz, 80W Made in Japan (maybe Korea) Both Woofers measure 6.1 Ohms and 2.25mH - a matched Pair Each has a white ink stamped Part Number T10-0142-05 912A235 Pulled from Kenwood LSC-5500, nice cone types, yet had sad surrounds. Could be a replacement for many speakers with a Spec 8 ohm application. Serial Numbers 2481490, 2481493 Even the cones are also Numbered (pics).IMHO looks like a BIC Formula in Magnet build, Basket, & potentially design. The choice to refurbish the Surrounds was done when noticing these Woofers have a performance cone weighting design, being a thin & stiff JBL quality. Now in fine Working Condition since a Skilled Engr-Tech Re-Foaming :-) Used OEM spec correct size and weight foams and a M-3035-C adhesive, & the "shim method" for positive accuracy to center Voice Coil, or VC to magnet stem. This Process is shown in last pictures, a good job and they are ready to go. Not included - yet if desired ask on the 2 Beauty Rings in the last picture.
