Description: For your consideration this souvenir plate from Germany. It came from the King's Castle on the isle of Herren on Chiemsee (lake) in Bavaria Germany. Built by King Ludwig to be his Versailles. It opened soon after his death (1886) to the public. It is in excellent condition and stamped Bavaria TK Made in Germany. It measures about 8 inches.
