Junior Johnson Signed 1/24 NASCAR Legends New 2011 University of Racing Legends Series 1/24 scale diecast metal collectable of #98 Winebarger Motor Co. sponsored 1969 Mercury Cyclone raced by Leeroy Yarbrough in the Grand National Series.This is the seventh release in the University of Racing Legends Series and once again they have done an unbelievable job of producing another beautiful collectable. These were retailed as both a signed version and an unsigned version and I retailed both versions.This is the rare signed version of the car. Leeroy passed away long before this car was produced so this car was signed by his legendary crew chief and legendary driver Junior Johnson. Signed by Junior across the hood with a silver Sharpie before he passed. The very early releases of these NASCAR Legends cars were designated with an "S" at the end of the serial number on the box meaning it was a signed version. Later releases may have had a yellow sticker on the end of the box showing "Signed By Driver". This car's box has the sticker "AUTOGRAPHED" as it was the only signed car in the series not signed by the driver but by the crew chief.This car features an all metal diecast chassis, opening hood and trunk, functional steering and a highly detailed and fully wired and plumbed Holman Moody 427 cubic inch engine. There's lots of chrome including the grill, both bumpers, door handles and hood and trunk hold-down pins. It even has burnt tips on the exhaust pipes. The interior is highly detailed and features full instrument detail. It is a limited edition and has a sealed certificate of authenticity as shown in the last photo. It is in stock and ready to ship.
