Description: This lot includes two vintage thermometers, one a Madison in a screw top metal case on a chain with the mouthpiece part broken and the other a BD in a plastic screw top case, both accompanied by an original Eisele Box and papers. The One in the plastic case has "FREIDERICA PHCY. 701 W. CAPITOL LITTLE ROCK, ARK. FR. 4-2207 on the bottom part. The metal case doesn't have anything on it but it does have a chain attached. The metal case chop is attached to the thermometer. The box doesn't belong to either thermometer. It is an Eisel and company Nashville Tennessee box as you can see in the picture. One corner of the bottom is not very well glued there are two small papers that belong to the box inside one is a certificate for the thermometer and on the back it gives points of interest about the thermometer and the other one is a little sign about how to take care of the thermometer that was in this box originally. These thermometers are ideal for collectors or anyone interested in vintage scientific instruments.
