Description: Lot of 5 Vintage Bottles Pensupreme Thompson's Pint Calif Syrup Skrip Jar Nice! Up for auction is a mixed lot of 5 vintage glass bottles and I will describe them below. I know very little about these bottles but here goes: The first is a 1 pint Pensupreme dairy bottle with red writing. This measures about 7" tall and has a 1 1/2" opening at top. On one side the writing shows "Pensupreme" with a quality seal image and "QUALITY AWARD MILK, WINNER PENNSYLVANIA'S HIGHEST MILK AWARD". And on the other side it says "PENSUPREME MILK, PENSUPREME DAIRY PRODUCTS (in an emblem)" and "The Sign of Quality" below that. This bottle is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and just a couple of scratches but needs to be cleaned inside. The red paint shows just very slight wear mostly on one side--"sign of quality" side. The base is marked with "2781-2B51" (I think). The base rim has "ONE PINT LIQUID REG SEALED B S". Next is the clear 1 pint Thompson's Dairy bottle. It measures about 6 3/4" tall and 2" in diameter at top opening. It is marked with "Thompson's Dairy" on one side and a large "TD" on the opposited. This bottle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches and just needs to be cleaned on the inside. The base is marked with a large "TD" and the base rim has "ONE PINT LIQUID REGISTERED 2012-11TH ST N.W. WASH. D.C." Third is a clear California Fig Syrup bottle--I'm not sure how much it holds. It is marked on one side with "SUCCESSORS TO THE CALIFORNIA FIG SYRUP CO" and on the two narrow sides with "CALIFIG" and nothing on the back. It measures about 5 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" wide and 1" deep and the diameter at the top is 5/8". This bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and just one scratch on one of the edges of the back of the bottle. It could use a slight cleaning on the inside. It is marked on the base with the letter "R" and the number "14". (no lid) Fourth is a clear Sheaffer's Skrip ink bottle with built-in inkwell. It measures about 2 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter at top rim. This ink bottle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches and just could use a slight cleaning on the inside. It is marked on the base with "SHEAFFER'S SKRIP PAT'D 1759866" with a number "5" in a circle. On the top side, near the ink pocket it says "THIS SIDE DOWN TO FILL POCKET". (no lid) Finally is a clear glass jar or bottle with glass lid and a metal latching device to hold the lid in place. There are no markings on this jar but I think it is on the older side. It measures about 6 3/4" tall and 1 7/8" in diameter at top lid. It is in very good to excellent condition with no issues except some slight wear--very tiny nicks--on the inside rim of the bottle. The lid is excellent and the metal device is very good and works fine but has some very slight rust--hardly worth mentioning. What a great grouping of five vintage bottles to add to your collection!
