Description: This is an original pen & ink by Connecticut artist Margery Adelaide Stocking Hart 1880-199 who was known for her book illustrations and paintings. This pen & ink was probably in a a copy of John Martin’s Magazine, published between 1912 & 1933, with a target audience of children between 5 & 8. This 12 1/2”x 9” pen &ink is on a heavy paper stock, in good condition. The blue spot looks to be watercolor.
