"I have hundreds of 600 Watt 24V Meanwells running in the field and probably another 100+ 350Watt 5V running in the field and they are the most reliable piece of equipment compared to everything else. Remember many people have been electrocuted by "cheap" units, especially those made by Chinese companies (Meanwell is from Taiwan). Keep in mind the face masks that did not meet international standards and had fake markings on them! Many of the cheap power supplies sold in discount shops have been removed by the Australian government after one person was electrocuted... some of these are now sold online! +NOTE, all LED power supplies in Australia should have POWER FACTOR CORRECTION (PFC). You can generally tell if a power supply does NOT have "active" PFC because it's input current will be DOUBLE that expected (e.g. input voltage x input current ≈ 2 x output wattage). The advantage of "active" PFC is that not only is the AC mains current reduced (and of course "in phase" with voltage... something that power companies prefer), but the electrical interference (EMI) is reduced (less harmonics) BUT also it stablises the input allowing the AC voltage to vary greatly WITHOUT affecting the output voltage!
