Description: Michelangelo Bounarroti Original engraving 1550. First state first printing conceived between 1508 to 1512 by Michelangelo for the design of the Sistine Chapel ceiling in Rome the plate executed by Adam Scultori between 1540 and 1550 this is extremely rare and is signed on the plate by the engraver Adamo Scultori. It is referenced in Bartsch XV 426.30, Bellini 24i/I. Size of art is 165 mm x 2 38 mm size of frame is 15” x 17” high. I included three other photos of its sister piece by the same name. It was sold for 4100 in Auction.
