Victorian Style Embossed Roses Vintage Milk Glass VASE (like GWTW Lamp Shade)

Description: This wonderful and unique milk glass vase is identical to the lamp shades of some of the Gone With The Wind electric lamps, only it has a flat bottom rather than the fitter that the lamp shades have. Originally I thought it was a lamp shade that hadn't had the bottom knocked out -- but on comparing them, it obviously was made as a vase, not a lamp shade. It has the large embossed roses like those lamp shades, but no hand painted decorations. This will hold a massive bouquet! I used it when my daughter sent me a Mothers' Day bouquet of lilies from Costco, thinking it was one bouquet, and actually it was four. I was able to get three of the bouquets into this vase, and it looked really nice! (The fourth bouquet was put in a different vase.) The top rim of the vase was cut smooth, when manufactured, and there are a few minuscule (less than 1/16") nicks in the inner edge of the rim, but they are polished smooth like the rim, so apparently were part of the manufacturing. I have searched and cannot find another vase like this and I don't know who made it. Consolidated Glass Company made a similar vase with a different flower embossed on it -- so I think that they could be the maker; but I haven't been able to find any proof that they made it. I am certain that it was made by the same company who made the Gone With The Wind lamp shades with this same identical rose embossing. The vase is 8 inches tall, 9 inches wide at the widest area, and 4 inches wide across the bottom. The inner diameter of the opening is 4 inches wide. There are 6 dots on the bottom, arranged fairly evenly with one in the middle and the rest like points on spokes of a wheel. The vase is divided into 3 equal sections with 3 creases separating them. On each section are 2 large roses, then vines and buds going across the bottom and top and meeting at the 2 large roses of the next section. There also are 3 lesser creases just on the other side of the 2 roses, so that they have a crease on each side of them. The vase weighs 3 pounds 1.2 ounces.
