The kit consists of:1 Silicone Mold specifically designed for casting resins + 2 wooden planks 5 T-shaped stainless steel insertsa sheet of beautiful realistic 3D eyes5 lead strips (10 g each) You can purchase extra inserts here. This is how you make the lures: 1. You spray your mold with aerosol release agent. You could skip this step but if you do lubricate your mold, you will ensure its longevity, so you could use it for making hundreds of lures.2. Wrap a piece of the lead around the T-shaped steel insert and place the insert into the mold. This way you will add more weight to the lure and determine how the lure lays in water depending on where exactly you place the lead. A perfectly balanced lure is typically about 20 g in weight. 3. Close the mold and secure it with the the wooden planks and lock with a clamp.4. You can now pour the resin. You could use all sorts of resins. The one we recommend is the floating Feather Lite resin by Smooth-On. It is easy to use and it takes just 20 minutes to cure. 5. After the resin has cured, you can finish your lures by airbrushing, adding eyes and clear coating. We recommend the crystal clear UV coat available here.
