He also wrote plays and many philosophical essays.The inspiration for this pen was Yasnaya Polyana, the family home where he was born and resided with his wife and children. The dark grey resin cap, blue marbled resin cone and platinum plated fittings mirror the study where he wrote his most important works. It is blue, grey and silver coated. As all Writers Editions, the cap has Tolstoy's signature. The pen is 3705/12,000. I am the original owner and this pen is part of my collection, but has never been opened.
