The Morgan Dollar has climbed to the very top of collectible coins for numismatists and collectors alike due to its stunning portrait of Lady Liberty in profile facing left. Upon her head, as you look at the obverse of the coin, you will find a Greek stylized cap with the words “LIBERTY” inscribed into the headband, while several leaves protrude from directly behind the inscription. On the reverse of this magnificently produced silver round from the Highland Mint, you will notice the familiar engraving of the American eagle with wings outstretched clutching a branch and several arrows in its talons. The master artisans at the Highland Mint crafted a beautiful silver round honoring one of the most collected of all coins here in America. The main design differences in this case are the use of a full oz. of .999 fine silver, and slightly larger diameter than the typical Morgan Dollar. You will also notice that all of the previous legends on both the obverse and reverse have been removed to make way for the technical descriptions of weight and purity.
