Description: Mint collector condition with case, key, split piezo/ electric cable, and case candy. All in mint condition. This is the rarest BMC guitar ever produced. The volcano DC/1P serial#D417 is the NAMM show prototype that was displayed for the 2003 show that was supposed to be made into a limited edition series of 10 DC/1P and 10 C90P s (see press release picture). Fortunately the series never went into production! This is the only volcano art guitar ever produced (see coa Patrick sent me in 2011)! A phenomenon one off, 1 of 1 that showcases Ray Memmels inlay work comprised of abalone, black lip and red recon gemstones. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard bound in flamed Maple with side dot inlays. The black gold hardware combination really hits a home run with the blood red/orange burst color. Guitar is kept in smoke free humidity controlled atmosphere. Pickups are Seymour Duncan's with the versatile hum/hum configuration, 5 way switch and the bridge RMC piezo pickup for acoustic guitar or blending, acoustic / electric. The set neck is 22 frets, 24 3/4" scale, 12" radius, nice C shape. Weighs in at 7.5 pounds. Please email any questions. Free fully insured UPS second day shipping to continental united states.
