This is a very rare 7 inch effigy pipe with hand-swirl etchings along stem leading to a gorgeously sculpted open mouth fish. The pipe has formed eyes, very good detail and minor abrasion/streaks, dings. It is covered in original soil/deposits. No repair work. It is hard to believe it has survived intact for so many years and perhaps centuries. This pipe features a unique design that reflects the culture and heritage of the Native American people.
