Description: Pairpoint Glass Cup Plate 395 - Vintage Italianate Doorway Design New Bedford Massachusetts Collectible New Bedford MA Swain School of Design This vintage Pairpoint Glass lead crystal cup plate celebrates the Italianate Doorway from the Jireh Swift House in New Bedford, MA. Commissioned by the New Bedford Preservation Society in 1985, it is the fifth plate in their series and features intricate designs and decorative elements, including the nautical rope theme of New Bedford's history. Handcrafted using traditional techniques, each plate is similar but not identical, highlighting the unique and handmade nature of each piece. Measuring approximately 3.5 inches in diameter and 0.5 inches in height, this cup plate is perfect as a small catchall dish or ring dish for all your small and special things.
