We have tested it rigorously; we test all our pumps with thin diesel fuel, not heavy motor oil; they are pressure and vacuum tested to make sure they pass inspection; the output pressure is tested to make sure it's 40 psi and must have a good flow; we also pressure and vacuum test the shaft seal and run the pump with the inlet side closed off to make sure it will pull down to a minimum of 20 inches of vacuum; many used pumps in the industry do not pass this test at all; we've tested lots of pumps---we know. Only good quality pumps pass this test. We also check to make sure they run quietly.
