No breaks or cracks. The lid has a very small nick on the inner tab. No other chips on the set. There are a couple of normal manufacturer's irregularities in the pattern. For example, a bit of gold is on one cup handle, and there is a dark spot on the tea spout. See photos and description for details. Over all very nice.
