Description: Up for sale is this Rare Aerial M1 Carbine Bayonet. This bayonet has a wooden handle with a cross hatch pattern checkering. Comes with M8 scabbard & belt hanger. Blade retains almost none of its original finish and there is some very minor play in the guard. The blade measures approximately 6-3/8” and the bayonet overall measures approximately 11.25” and 12.25” when sheathed. Very good condition. Aerial is the rarest manufacturer of M1 carbine bayonets during the war. Not only is this the rarest maker, but the factory cross-hatch pattern carved into the handle is even rarer.
