Description: Overall, in very good condition with all the original buttons. No unsightly holes or stains, there is very slight moth tracking on the left lapel and in the upper back mostly under the collar. There are a few small nips along the lower area and one small dark spot, which is undoubtably a cigarette burn. Likely the officer was a smoker (common). Very subtle and does not go all the way through the coat, it is hard to notice unless you look carefully. Dated 1943 with the officers name, indicates a size 38. The actual dimensions of the jacket are 26 inch sleeve length 18 1/2 inches from outside shoulder seam to outside shoulder seam 37 inch overall height, and 43 inches as measured around the chest under the armpits. Nice addition to your World War II collection.
