Description: THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE ROCKET Plywood Fin and Ring Upgrade For the 2023 Estes Great Goblin #9724 The Great Goblin kit from Estes is an awesome 3" version of the classic rocket with a 29mm engine mount. It was designed to fly on the Estes black powder motors and is therefore super-lightweight with balsa fins and fiber-board centering rings. In order to fly it on bigger F and G composite motors it needs an upgrade.This is an upgrade kit to replace the balsa fins and fiber board centering rings with 1/8th inch plywood parts. These percision laser-cut parts are drop-in replacements for the standard kit parts. Once you upgrade though, there is no going back. Your rocket will be too heavy for the Estes motors but a whole world of motors will be opened up to you. This kit includes 4 plywood fins and 4 plywood centering rings ONLY. Everything else in the photos is from the Great Goblin kit that you must purchase separately. Please note: This is not a complete rocket.Note: you are responsible for adding nose wieght if necessary.
