Description: An original Canadian Army leather open loop ammo belt, manufactured before or during World War I, it measures to fit a waist of 46”- 48”, a very long belt, it measures 2 1/4” wide and can hold 36 cartridges. It is maker marked J.E. Lortie Co. Ltd Montreal no date, also known as Jelco, by the brass buckle there is some separation of leather shown in pictures. For its age decent condition, leather is still supple but could use some leather conditioner.
