It is curved, and ovoidal in shape; there are tiny pores on the surface with concomitant ridges/bumps called "mammillae."And the fourth criteria is the shell has a crack. This is an ingeniously exquisite work of functional arthammer stone/hand axe that was created for the ages. Found "as is" in East Multnomah County, Oregon, near the Columbia River.
