Evergreen cloth covered boards with gilt-stamped lettering and gilt outline of the Great Lakes with Lake Michigan highlighted, on the front board panel; gilt lettering and graphics on spine. Upper external page edges are tinted. Two-toned map illustrations on end papers. Small amount of scuffs and crimps along edges at head and tail of board spine. Small scuff to lower front fore-edge corner and small bump on upper front fore-edge corner. External side and lower edges are age-toned as are text pages. No internal marks or tears. Text block is sound. Dust jacket is scuffed and lightly soiled overall and several smudges on the back panel. Edges and corners at head and tail of jacket spine and fore-edge corners are rubbed and with small chips. Upper edge of back jacket panel has a 1/2" closed vertical tear toward the left corner.
