The tale was first published in 1837 and has been a favorite of children and adults ever since.Created in the form of a mouse, The Little Mermaid [er, Mermouse!] is made of fine mohair plush with realistic shading, rising hands, German glass eyes, and inset whiskers. Measuring just 3 inches tall, she is jointed at the neck and shoulders. A built-in metal stand provides effortless display. The Little Mermaid comes outfitted in a beautiful mermaid costume made of pleated silk fabric woven with metallic threads.
