The colorful and fun multi-color design features the iconic Frito-Lay brand character THE FRITO BANDITO ( Fritos mascot from 1967 to 1971 ) and will surely bring back memories of childhood. The character was designed by legendary wacky animation director TEX AVERY and the voice was supplied by MEL BLANC (both are best known for the iconic Bugs Bunny character for Warner Brothers cartoons). This inflatable character sign is a great addition to any collection and is in excellent shape for its age. There is an audible leak detected on the upper left face somewhere between the nose and where the hat meets the head. To repair would require a search using water and knowledge on proper patch repair. Since the source of the leak isn't visible it is probably a pinhole. This is a GIANT life-size Fritos mascot measuring between 3 1/2 feet to 4 feet tall. At its widest point it's 22-inches. There are a couple of paint printing errors on the body due to the uninflated vinyl not being perfectly smoothed out when the color printing was done. If you've been seeking Frito Bandito items for more than a few years you know that this huge inflatable rarely appears and is extremely scarce!
