Description: You will receive 10 VERY fresh seeds from the magnificent Satakentia Liukiuensis palm tree. Extremely rare, very beautiful palm. Coconut style fronds with a thick trunk and a brownish-purple crownshaft. Ideal for sub-tropical areas, but will tolerate some cold. Seeds are picked only when fully ripe and are shipped shortly after picking -- extremely fresh. Quantities are limited. All seeds are verified sinkers. Pulp is removed, then seeds are packed in moist sphagnum moss inside baggies for shipping. Follow the below instructions carefully for best germination. Note that germination takes time - about 6 months. During that time, DO NOT allow the seeds to dry out. Germination recommendations: Soak briefly in fungicide, then place a few seeds in a pot with a mix of 80% seed starting soil and 20% perlite. Place in an area that is about 85 degrees. Do not place in direct sunlight (light is not needed for germination). Once plants have emerged, carefully separate and plant in small, deep pots with a palm appropriate soil mix.
