Her base color is milky white then layered with a glossy opaline finish. This unique blend of colors is achieved by a very laborious process that only highly skilled artisans can make by hand. This kitty does contain manganese, I believe as it glows bright and beautifully under a black-light/uv light. So many things to appreciate on this piece, including the lovely delicately hand-painted holly berries and greenery painted along the kitty’s collar and back.
