RARE WWII US Army 18" Machete 1944 W/ Sheath US

Description: WWII US Army 18" Machete 1944 W/ Sheath US. Could not find any markings on machete. Sheath has 1944 Williamsville Buff MFG CO. My brother collected bayonets and machete but passed away 50 years ago. Then they were passed down. I know nothing about bayonets and machete accept for recent research. They were packed in vasoline and wrapped and stored. I cleaned them with wd40 as well as I could.Blade still in nice condition and is sharp.
