Here at Boutenwood Designs I’ve started to create many new home and bar items using teak wood. Teak is a tropical wood and valued for its durability and water resistance. This design features a 15” round 1” thick piece of teak that is carved a half inch deep creating the pockets for serving all your favorite snack foods! After being carved it’s sanded smooth and finished with 100% food safe mineral oil to condition and protect the wood. A final coat of food safe wax is added to help seal in the oil keeping the wood hydrated. The oils and wax really enhance the natural beauty of teak pulling out its grain and color. Handles are then added for easy carrying. 4 hard rubber feet are securely screwed to the bottom to protect any surface you set this tray on.
