The death of Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin came in the evening March 5, 1953 at the 75th year of life due to hemorrhage into the brain that occurred, presumably, on March 1 on the basis hypertension and atherosclerosis. The death of Stalin was announced on the radio on March 6, 1953 at 6 am. After the death of Stalin,doctors sent his body to the hospital for the balming procedure. On March 6-9, the Soviet people said goodbye to Stalin, mourning was declared throughout the country. The coffinwith the body of the deceased was installed in the House of Unions. Stalin's funeral took place on March 9, 1953. Смерть Иосифа Виссарионовича Сталина наступила вечером 5 марта 1953 года на 75-м году жизнивследствие кровоизлияния в мозг, которое произошло, предположительно, 1 марта на почве гипертонической болезни и атеросклероза. О смерти Сталина было объявлено по радио 6 марта 1953 года в 6 часов утра.
