Description: SAGE 790SP 9' #7weight line 2 piece rod. 3 3/16oz.It has a quick and sharp action typical of SAGE, made in the 1990s with high modulus graphite IV. I would say this rod has a medium-fast action, but the line speed is very fast. The cork on the grip shows signs of use. The metal reel seat has peeling paint. There are fine scratches on the blank surface as shown in the last 5 pictures. There are no deep scratches.It comes with rod tube and rod sock.*The rod tube was dirty, so I wiped it with water and it was clean, so I replaced the photo. I have been fly fishing as a hobby for over 30 years. I have detailed my own inventory of gear that I and my fishing fellows no longer use and list it for sale.
