Description: For sale is this linen, white border, divided back postcard of the view to the San Francisco Mountains near Flagstaff, Arizona. Postcards from 1930 to 1944 were printed on a linen texture paper. Linen postcards during this time often had a white border. They also used brightly colored inks. The postcard is unposted. The back of the card advertises Fred Harvey Hotels, Shops and Restaurants. Per the fascinating and informative Fred Harvey website "At its peak, Fred Harvey had over sixty-five restaurants and lunch counters, sixty dining cars, a dozen large hotels, all the restaurants and retail shops in five of the nation’s largest railroad stations, and so many newsstands and bookshops that its prepublication orders regularly affected national best-seller lists." There are no tears, writing or fading on this card. Please see photographs or use the Ebay magnifying feature if that is available to you for an accurate depiction of the condition of this item. There may be something that is important to you, but not obvious to us. Don't hesitate to ask questions, should you have any prior to purchase. I do combine or refund shipping for multiple purchases.
